The Italian Stallion Inspired by the movie Rocky (1976) Materials: American flag, Bible, Money, Italian sauce, Philly cheesesteak, Vinyl, and a Horse. The photograph displays a journey from rock bottom to the "American dream". The Bible opened on the left conveys Rocky being religious and using God to help guide him on the right path. The Italian sauce works together with the horse or better known as a stallion (Italian Stallion). The Philly cheesesteak represents the city in which the movie takes place, and it also represents being poor and having to eat low-priced foods. The money is thrown in on top of the Bible because that is the final reward and goal at the end of the movie. Finally, the vinyl acts as the dinner plate and represents the movie being filmed in the 70s. The background was selected as an American flag for patriotism throughout the movie and the "American dream".
