Dinner & A Movie

 

The Italian Stallion
Inspired by the movie Rocky (1976)

Materials: American flag, Bible, Money, Italian sauce, Philly cheesesteak, Vinyl, and a Horse.

The photograph displays a journey from rock bottom to the "American dream". The Bible opened on the left conveys Rocky being religious and using God to help guide him on the right path. The Italian sauce works together with the horse or better known as a stallion (Italian Stallion). The Philly cheesesteak represents the city in which the movie takes place, and it also represents being poor and having to eat low-priced foods. The money is thrown in on top of the Bible because that is the final reward and goal at the end of the movie. Finally, the vinyl acts as the dinner plate and represents the movie being filmed in the 70s. The background was selected as an American flag for patriotism throughout the movie and the "American dream".

     1. Adidas running shoes . Because I have to use them everyday for my runs. I usually use the same brand for running shoes, but recently I have been trying out new brands.          2. I love to play the drums and I need drumsticks to play. My favorite brand is Vic Firth because they are the best and have simple designs.      4. Airpod s. I use them everyday, anywhere I go. Listening to music and using them for phone calls is the two main things I use them most for.     5. Garmin watch . Just like my running shoes, I need to know how far I am running. Garmin is the best brand to have and I love using it on all my runs.

Noticing and feeling every piece of fabric run through my fingers felt soft and delicate to the touch. I also had to deal with how everything was placed inside the suitcase and how my touch affected how the suitcase closed. After packing the suitcase up, I zipped it up and took it down the hall as an outro to my video. Not only did I deal with touch on each piece of clothing but I also felt the texture of the suitcase handle as I walked away with it
